Experience:
from any Public University or a reputed Private University in any discipline, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Engineering from any Public University or a reputed Private Engineering University with extensive practical experience in Supply Chain Management.
Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, CIPS, PMP, or equivalent will be considered an added advantage.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing integrated supply chain strategies to support multiple business units, ensuring operational excellence, cost optimization, and uninterrupted supply of materials and services.
Candidates having direct experience in the following industries will be given preference:
Plastic Manufacturing, Manufacturing Household and kitchen materials.
Engineering Industries, Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Shipping & Logistics. Real Estate Development Construction Materials Heavy Engineering Projects Diversified.
Manufacturing Conglomerates At least 5 years in a senior leadership position such as Head of SCM, Sr. Manager, AGM, or equivalent.
Proven experience in diversified manufacturing industries is essential.
Hands-on experience in procurement of polymers, chemicals, engineering items, machinery, electrical and mechanical spare parts, packaging materials, and imported raw materials.
Strong knowledge of commercial operations, import/export procedures, shipping logistics, customs regulations, and international sourcing.
Experience in ERP-based Supply Chain Management systems is highly desirable.

Assistant General Manager (SCM) will lead and manage the end-to-end supply chain operations for the Group's diversified business portfolio, including:
Plan, organize and manage end-to-end supply chain operations — procurement, strategic sourcing, local purchase, import, export, commercial, inventory, warehouse, logistics and distribution.
Manufacturing of PVC Pipe, uPVC Pipe, HDPE Pipe, LLDPE Water Tank, uPVC Fittings, Thread Fittings, Kitchen Sink, Stainless Steel Sink, Plastic Household Products, Gas Stove, and other engineering and consumer products.
Procurement of polymers, resins, chemicals, additives, packaging materials, engineering items, machinery, spare parts, electrical and mechanical equipment, moulds, dies, and industrial consumables.
End-to-end procurement and project supply chain management for construction of new vessels, including marine engines, generators, propulsion systems, navigation equipment, deck machinery, electrical systems, piping systems, safety equipment, steel plates, marine spare parts, and other shipbuilding materials.
Procurement and logistics management for the Group's Shipping Division, including fleet maintenance, dry docking, vessel repair, and technical spare parts.
Procurement of construction materials for the Group's Real Estate Development projects, including cement, steel, rods, bricks, aggregates, tiles, sanitary ware, electrical equipment, elevators, HVAC systems, finishing materials, and MEP items.
Strategic sourcing from both local and international suppliers while ensuring quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.
Management of import, export, international logistics, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and shipping operations.
Development of long-term procurement strategies, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives.
Establishment of modern ERP-based procurement systems, inventory optimization, warehouse management, and supply chain analytics across all business units.
Coordinate with production, engineering, sales, finance, commercial and project teams for uninterrupted supply.
Drive demand forecasting, material planning (MRP), stock optimization and supplier evaluation.
Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials, machinery, spare parts, packaging materials, and finished goods.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and long-term supply agreements to secure the best total value for the Group.
Manage import and export operations, including international procurement, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
Optimize inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs and stock shortages.
Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality and service levels.
Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and develop strategic sourcing initiatives.
Coordinate closely with Production, Sales, Finance, Commercial, Engineering, and Quality Assurance departments.
Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and corporate governance standards.
Prepare annual procurement plans, budgets, management reports, and performance dashboards.
