Experience:
Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in store keeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
Must have hands-on experience with stock registers, bin cards, and basic computer applications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and relevant accounting/inventory software.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Must be proactive, honest, and self-motivated.
Candidates with experience in the textile/spinning/manufacturing sector will be given preference.
Receive, inspect, and properly store raw materials, spare parts, finished goods, consumables, and other materials.
Check quantity, quality, specifications, and supporting documents of materials received against Purchase Orders, Challans, and Invoices.
Prepare and maintain Goods Receive Notes (GRN) and other necessary store documents.
Issue materials to different departments against duly approved Material Requisition/Issue Notes.
Maintain accurate Bin Cards, Stock Registers, and computerized inventory records.
Ensure proper identification, labeling, stacking, and safe storage of all materials.
Maintain proper records of receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and stock balances.
Monitor stock levels and inform the Store Manager about minimum stock, shortages, excess, damaged, or obsolete materials.
Conduct regular physical stock counting and assist in reconciliation with book/system balances.
Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, safety, and security of the store.
Maintain separate and systematic storage arrangements for different categories of materials.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable to minimize damage, deterioration, or expiry.
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Accounts, Maintenance, and other departments regarding material requirements.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports as required by management.
Properly document and report any shortage, excess, damage, or discrepancy in stock.
Ensure that no material is received or issued without proper authorization and documentation.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary store records and documents.
Maintain proper filing and preservation of all store-related documents.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal control systems.
Perform any other store and inventory-related duties assigned by the management.
