• Strong exposure to ocean freight pricing and procurement.

• Excellent relationships with shipping lines, NVOCCs, co-loaders, and overseas agents.

• Good knowledge of ocean freight and major trade lanes.

• Strong commercial mindset focused on business growth and profitability.

• Manage ocean freight pricing and procurement for import and export shipments.

• Negotiate competitive freight rates, surcharges, free time, space, and commercial terms with shipping lines, NVOCCs, co-loaders, and overseas agents.

• Maintain strong relationships with major shipping lines and develop a well-connected network of NVOCCs and co-loaders.

• Prepare and maintain competitive rate structures, contracts, and quotations.

• Monitor ocean freight market trends, carrier rates, capacity, and trade lanes.

• Provide timely pricing support for sales, RFQs, tenders, and key accounts.

• Identify new business opportunities and support revenue and profitability growth.

• Coordinate with Operations and Sales to ensure smooth shipment execution and customer satisfaction.

• Handle commercial negotiations, carrier-related issues, and escalations.

• Analyze pricing, procurement performance, and market opportunities.

• Guide and support the pricing/procurement team as required.
