Responsibilities & Context
RANGS eMART is looking for a proactive and experienced Executive / Senior Executive – Import Management to manage end-to-end import and commercial activities for the Electronics / Home Appliance business.
The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating import documentation, L/C-related activities, shipment planning, customs clearance, logistics coordination, and timely delivery of imported products and materials while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable Bangladesh import regulations.
Candidates with relevant experience in the Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances, Electrical & Electronics, or Retail Industry will be highly preferred.
Manage end-to-end import operations including PI, L/C, shipment, customs clearance and delivery.
Coordinate with overseas suppliers, banks, freight forwarders, C&F agents and internal stakeholders.
Prepare, verify and maintain import and commercial documents.
Monitor shipment schedules, customs clearance, delivery and payment status.
Coordinate L/C opening, amendment, document negotiation and related banking activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable import, customs and regulatory requirements.
Prepare import status, shipment tracking and management reports.
Identify and minimize shipment delays, demurrage, detention and other avoidable costs.
