Education:

Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage suppliers and maintain strong, professional relationships with existing and potential vendors.

  • Review and compare multiple supplier quotations and order sheets to identify the most competitive options.

  • Conduct market and brand research to identify high-demand, top-selling, and potential “hero” products for onboarding.

  • Identify slow-moving and dead stock and take necessary initiatives to improve inventory turnover.

  • Monitor near-expiry products and coordinate timely clearance or promotional activities.

  • Maintain regular communication and coordination with suppliers regarding orders, pricing, availability, delivery, and other business matters.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with suppliers and relevant internal teams.

  • Conduct physical market visits to gather market insights, monitor competitors, and identify new product opportunities.

  • Perform daily operational activities and maintain accurate product and inventory data in the POS system.

  • Coordinate with the product upload team to ensure accurate and timely product listings.

  • Maintain regular communication with the warehouse team regarding stock availability, receiving, dispatch, and inventory-related issues.

  • Assist in inventory control, procurement, purchasing, and replenishment activities.

  • Verify and audit product names, images, descriptions, specifications, and other product information.

  • Monitor and manage product pricing, promotional pricing, discounts, and offers.

  • Coordinate products and offers for various sales campaigns and promotional activities.

  • Generate content ideas based on products, campaigns, and promotional requirements and coordinate with content creators for execution.

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing product-related captions and promotional content.

  • Plan and prepare themes, product selections, talking points, and scripts for live selling sessions.

  • Prepare and monitor supplier payment schedules and coordinate with relevant teams regarding vendor payments and outstanding dues.

  • Maintain proper records and reports related to suppliers, purchasing, inventory, pricing, and product activities.

  • Perform other operational and ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned by the management.
