Responsibilities & Context:
Manage and supervise all day-to-day store activities, including receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling materials, spare parts, raw materials, and finished goods.
Maintain accurate records of all store receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and stock balances.
Ensure proper documentation and authorization for all materials received and issued from the store.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile physical stock with book/system records.
Maintain proper bin cards, stock registers, inventory records, and computerized store records.
Ensure proper identification, labeling, stacking, preservation, and safe storage of all materials.
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Accounts, Commercial, and other departments regarding material requirements and inventory management.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports and submit them to management.
Identify slow-moving, non-moving, damaged, obsolete, and excess inventory and report to management.
Ensure proper control and security of store premises and materials.
Supervise store personnel and allocate duties to ensure efficient store operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, internal controls, and safety requirements.
