Responsibilities & Context:
Plan and manage daily transportation operations.
Coordinate drivers,vehicles,routes and schedules.
Ensure timely and safe transportation of staff,goods or material.
Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption and maintenance.
Ensure vehicles are properly licensed.insured and roadworthy.
Handle driver schedules,attendance and duty assignment.
Coordinate vehicle repairs and routine servicing.
Control transportation costs and manage the transport budget.
Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation laws.
Coordinate with suppliers ,customers,departments and management.
prepare regular transport performance and expense report.
