Responsibilities & Context:
Responsible for the following:
Source and procure local materials, equipment, services and consumables for Sport City and the Park.
Obtain competitive quotations and prepare Comparative Statements and procurement recommendations.
Conduct market surveys and price benchmarking.
Negotiate price, quality, delivery, payment, warranty and service conditions.
Process Purchase Orders, Work Orders and Service Orders.
Procure construction, maintenance, landscaping, playground, sports, safety, facility and operational requirements.
Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Sports Operations, Park Operations, Stores and other user departments.
Follow up suppliers/contractors for timely delivery and completion of works/services.
Coordinate inspection, testing, quality verification and acceptance of goods and services.
Maintain supplier database, procurement records, delivery status and periodic procurement reports.
