The Manager, Inventory & Damage Control is responsible for the end-to-end management and control of FINIS’s inventory across three key areas: Raw Materials (RM), Finished Goods (FG), and Returned Goods. The incumbent will establish and enforce robust inventory control practices, ensure accuracy and accountability across stock movements, minimize product damage and losses, and oversee the systematic management, verification, documentation, and audit and disposition of returned and damaged products.
Manage and control inventory across Raw Materials (RM), Finished Goods (FG), and Returned & Damaged Products.
Ensure accurate stock records in SAP and regularly reconcile system stock with physical inventory.
Conduct and supervise regular physical stock counts and investigate stock variances.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and movement of materials and finished goods to minimize damage, loss, and wastage.
Manage the end-to-end return and damage process, from receiving and auding to recording, approval, and final disposition.
Verify returned and damaged products and identify the cause of damage, such as transportation, handling, storage, leakage, breakage, or tampering.
Maintain complete and accurate records of stock, returns, damages, and inventory adjustments, ensuring full traceability.
Work closely with Sales, Distribution, Logistics, Production, and Finance to resolve inventory issues and ensure timely processing of returns and damage claims.
Analyze inventory losses, damages, and recurring issues and take corrective and preventive actions to reduce losses.
Prepare regular inventory, damage, return, and variance reports for management and support internal/external audits.
Ensure compliance with approved inventory control policies, SOPs, and company procedures.
