Responsibilities & Context:

• Provide medical consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to employees for general illnesses, injuries, and occupational health concerns.

• Respond promptly to workplace medical emergencies and provide appropriate first aid and emergency care.

• Supervise and manage the factory medical center, ensuring adequate medical supplies, equipment, and medicines are available at all times.

• Maintain accurate medical records, treatment registers, and health reports in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

• Conduct routine health assessments and monitor employees’ fitness for work.

• Coordinate employee health screening, vaccination, and preventive healthcare programs.

• Monitor occupational health risks and recommend preventive measures to minimize workplace illnesses and injuries.

• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, occupational health regulations, buyer compliance requirements, and company policies.

• Coordinate referrals to hospitals, specialists, and diagnostic centers when necessary.

• Provide health education, awareness sessions, and counseling on hygiene, nutrition, reproductive health, communicable diseases, and workplace wellness.

• Investigate workplace accidents and prepare medical reports as required.

• Support compliance audits, inspections, and certifications related to health, safety, and worker welfare.

• Collaborate with HR, Compliance, EHS, and factory management on employee health and welfare initiatives.
