• Bachelor/Honors

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.

• Professional certification/training in Occupational Health & Safety, Fire Safety, First Aid, Risk Assessment, or related areas will be an advantage.

• 3 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Architecture Firm, Group of Companies, Garments Accessories

• Age At most 35 years

• Strong practical knowledge of factory health & safety requirements and workplace hazard management.

• Good understanding of Bangladesh Labour Law, Labour Rules, fire safety requirements, and applicable compliance standards.

• Experience in conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, emergency drills, incident investigations, and safety training.

• Familiarity with social and safety compliance requirements of international buyers and recognized audit standards will be an advantage.

• Good knowledge of Fire Safety, Life Safety, Electrical Safety, Machine Safety, Chemical Safety, PPE, and Emergency Preparedness.

• Good command of MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.

• Ability to work independently, identify risks proactively, and follow through on corrective actions.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety and employee welfare.

Job Context:

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Sr. Executive – H&S to manage workplace health and safety activities within our garments factory. The role will focus on safety compliance, risk assessment, emergency preparedness, training, inspections, incident management, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.

• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification.

• Ensure compliance with labour law, fire safety, and H&S requirements.

• Monitor fire safety, emergency exits, PPE, electrical, machine, and chemical safety.

• Conduct fire drills, emergency drills, safety training, and awareness sessions.

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective actions.

• Maintain H&S records, reports, inspection findings, and training documentation.

• Coordinate with the Safety Committee and relevant departments on safety issues.

• Follow up on audit findings and corrective action plans.

• Support customer, compliance, safety, and regulatory audits.

• Monitor workplace housekeeping, and overall safety conditions.

• Prepare regular H&S reports and management updates.

• Promote a strong safety culture across the factory.

• Perform other H&S-related duties assigned by management.
