Experience:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.
Strong knowledge of credit control, accounts receivable, customer outstanding, and collection management.
Good understanding of export commercial procedures, LC, TT, invoice, shipping documents, and bank documentation.
Experience in monitoring customer credit limits, payment terms, overdue receivables, and collection follow-up.
Strong knowledge of Bangladesh customs, banking, export, and commercial regulations.
Good negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/software.Ability to coordinate effectively with Merchandising, Finance & Accounts, Commercial, Export, Logistics, and Banking teams.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities:
Monitor customer credit limits, payment terms, outstanding balances, and overdue accounts.
Develop and implement effective credit control and collection strategies.
Follow up with customers for timely payment and resolve payment-related issues.
Review customer creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
Review outstanding balances before releasing new shipments.
Monitor LC, TT, export proceeds, invoices, and commercial documentation.
Ensure timely submission and accuracy of export and banking documents.
Coordinate with banks regarding export bills, realization, discrepancies, and payment issues.
Ensure compliance with relevant commercial, banking, customs, and export regulations.
Coordinate with Finance, Accounts, Commercial, Merchandising, Logistics, and other departments.
Prepare regular receivables, aging, credit exposure, collection, and commercial reports for management.
Identify credit and commercial risks and recommend corrective actions.
Lead and monitor the Credit Control & Commercial team to ensure timely and accurate execution.
Ensure compliance with company policies, banking regulations, tax requirements, and audit requirements.
Support management in improving cash flow, reducing overdue receivables, and minimizing commercial risks.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
