Job Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure timely submission of VAT returns, tax returns, and related regulatory documents.

• Maintain VAT & Tax records, registers, challans, invoices, and supporting documents accurately.

• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh VAT & Income Tax laws, rules, and regulations.

• Prepare and verify VAT/TAX calculations, deductions, withholding tax (TDS/VDS), and related documents.

• Coordinate with NBR, VAT offices, tax offices, auditors, and other relevant authorities when required.

• Monitor tax and VAT payment deadlines and ensure timely payments to avoid penalties or non-compliance.

• Assist in tax audits, VAT inspections, assessments, and preparation of necessary supporting documents.

• Review business transactions to identify VAT and tax implications and ensure proper documentation.

• Prepare regular VAT & Tax reports for management.

• Keep updated with changes in VAT & Tax laws, SROs, circulars, and government regulations.

Job Context

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Tax & VAT Senior Executive to manage day-to-day VAT and Tax compliance activities of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing statutory returns, ensuring timely payments and submissions, and coordinating with government authorities and auditors. The position requires strong knowledge of Bangladesh VAT & Income Tax regulations, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under deadlines.
