Responsibilities & Context:
1. Strategically manage warehouse in absence of manager.
2. Route plan & vehicle requirements preparation accordance with manager
3. Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
4. Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilisation
5. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
6. Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
7. Directing all transportation activities & vehicle maintenance
8. Communicate with clients, suppliers and transport companies
9. Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
10. Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
