Experience:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, International Business or a relevant discipline.
Professional qualifications in Commercial/International Trade will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of import and commercial documentation.
Good understanding of LC, Incoterms, customs procedures and shipping documentation.
Good communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Willingness to coordinate with different departments and external stakeholders.
Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in Commercial/Import/Trading operations.
Must have practical experience in at least two or more of the following commodities: Coal, Wheat, Fertilizer and other Trading commodities.
Candidates with strong experience in commodity trading and import commercial operations will be preferred.
Experience in handling LC, import documentation, customs, port and shipping-related commercial activities is essential.
Experience in a reputed Trading, Commodity, Import, Manufacturing or Group of Companies will be an advantage.
Noapara Group is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Dy. Manager / Manager – Commercial to manage and coordinate commercial activities related to Coal, Wheat, Fertilizer and other Trading businesses. The incumbent will be responsible for import/export documentation, LC-related activities, shipment coordination, customs and port documentation, supplier/customer coordination, and ensuring smooth execution of commercial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day commercial activities related to Coal, Wheat, Fertilizer and Trading operations.
Handle import/export documentation, including L/C, Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin and other relevant documents.
Coordinate with banks regarding LC opening, amendment, retirement and related commercial documentation.
Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, shipping lines, C&F agents, freight forwarders, customs, ports and other relevant stakeholders.
Monitor vessel shipment, arrival, discharge and delivery-related documentation.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of customs, port and regulatory documents.
Verify commercial documents and maintain proper records and files.
Coordinate with internal departments including Trading, Accounts & Finance, Logistics, Shipping and Operations.
Monitor import-related costs, duties, charges and other commercial expenses.
Follow up on shipment status, document discrepancies and delivery schedules.
Prepare commercial reports, statements and MIS as required by management.
Ensure compliance with applicable company policies, banking procedures and government rules/regulations.
Perform other commercial and trading-related duties assigned by management.
