Job Responsibilities
Responsible to maintain all commercial (Logic) related activities.
Coordinate and monitor export and import logistics activities from shipment planning to final delivery.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Commercial, Production, Warehouse, C&F Agents, Freight Forwarders, Shipping Lines, and Transporters.
Prepare and maintain shipment schedules according to buyer requirements and production readiness
Arrange transportation for finished goods, raw materials, fabrics, accessories, and other commercial shipments.
Coordinate with C&F agents for customs clearance, port activities, documentation, and shipment release.
Prepare and verify shipping documents,
Ensure timely submission of shipping documents to buyers, banks, freight forwarders, and relevant authorities.
Monitor vessel/flight schedules, booking confirmations, container availability, stuffing, and shipment departure.
Coordinate container/truck placement, loading, sealing, and dispatch as per approved shipment plans.
Track shipments and provide regular shipment status updates to management and concerned departments.
Follow up with freight forwarders and shipping lines regarding booking, vessel schedules, rollovers, delays, and documentation issues.
Ensure proper coordination for import clearance of raw materials, machinery, spare parts, chemicals, and accessories, where applicable.
Maintain proper records of export/import shipments, transportation costs, freight charges, C&F charges, and other logistics expenses.
Verify logistics and commercial invoices and coordinate with Accounts/Finance for payment processing.
Ensure all logistics activities comply with company procedures, customs requirements, buyer requirements, and applicable laws/regulations.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly Logistics & Shipment Status Reports for management.
Immediately escalate any shipment delay, documentation discrepancy, customs issue, or unexpected logistics cost to the concerned authority.
Perform any other commercial/logistics-related duties assigned by management.
Any commercial related task is given by the management.
