Experience:

• 12 to 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Shipping

• Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Maritime Studies, or related discipline.

• Professional certifications related to Freight Forwarding, Customs Compliance, Supply Chain Management, FIATA, or Shipping Operations will be considered an added advantage.

• 12 to 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Shipping

• Age At least 30 years

• Minimum 12-15 years of progressive experience in Air Import and Sea Import Operations within a reputed Freight Forwarding or Logistics organization.

• At least 5 years in a senior managerial role overseeing import operations.

• Proven expertise in handling FCL, LCL, Air Freight, Cross-Trade, Project Cargo, and Multimodal Shipments.

• Extensive experience in coordinating with customs authorities, C&F agents, shipping lines, airlines, ICDs, ports, and overseas agents.

• Strong understanding of customs clearance procedures, HS Code classification, VAT, taxation, and trade compliance.

• Experience in managing operational KPIs, SOP implementation, cost optimization, and service quality improvement.

• Demonstrated ability to lead large operational teams and manage high-volume shipment activities.

• Experience in ERP systems, freight forwarding software, and operational reporting tools.

• Strong knowledge of Air and Sea Import procedures.

• Sound understanding of customs clearance and trade compliance.

• Leadership and team management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and import compliance requirements.

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead and manage our Air Import and Sea Import operations while ensuring smooth shipment handling, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage all Air and Sea Import operations.

• Oversee shipment planning, tracking, customs clearance, and final delivery.

• Ensure timely preparation and verification of import documentation.

• Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, customs authorities, and C&F agents.

• Monitor import shipment status and resolve operational issues.

• Control operational costs and improve service efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Customs regulations and international trade requirements.

• Develop and implement SOPs for import operations.

• Lead and develop the Import Operations team.

• Prepare management reports and operational performance analysis.

• Maintain excellent relationships with clients and overseas partners.
