Responsibilities & Context:

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. LC Management & Import Banking

  • Execute, coordinate, monitor, and manage all Letter of Credit (LC) operations from issuance to settlement.

  • Handle import/export banking operations, trade finance, and financial documentation with partner banks.

  • Maintain effective correspondence with banks, insurance companies, and financial institutions to ensure smooth transaction flows.

2. Regulatory Liaison & Authority Management

  • Maintain continuous liaison and build strong relationships with Government Officials, Customs Authorities, C&F Agents, Freight Forwarders, and Transport Service Providers.

  • Directly handle, liaise, and maintain regulatory compliance with key government bodies, including the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC), Department of Explosives, and relevant ministry offices.

  • Prepare, process, submit, and secure all necessary permits, licenses, approvals, and clearance documentation related to restricted/controlled materials (Narcotics, Explosives, Chemicals).

3. Customs Clearance, Bond & Documentation

  • Oversee custom handling, export/import clearance, and timely presentation of shipping documents to respective custom stations.

  • Ensure strict adherence to Customs Bond rules, regulations, entitlement updates, and compliance requirements.

  • Negotiate rates and service terms with authorities, C&F agents, and freight forwarders to optimize commercial costs.

4. Logistics & Supply Chain Operations

  • Manage end-to-end import logistics and shipment coordination from port to warehouse/plant.

  • Proficiently manage online shipping bookings, freight reservations, and digital document submissions.

  • Ensure seamless coordination across the commercial department of the Group to maintain an uninterrupted supply
