• Master of Science (MSc) in Textile Engineering

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or relevant discipline.

• MBA in Marketing/Business Administration will be an added advantage.

• Strong communication skills in English.

• Good knowledge of garment merchandising, order execution, and production follow-up.

• Experience in handling orders through ERP software.

• Strong negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Job Context:

• The Asst. Manager/Deputy Manager – Merchandiser will be responsible for managing and coordinating merchandising activities from order development and booking through production and shipment. The role will work closely with buyers, production, IE, quality, sourcing, and other internal teams to ensure timely order execution, customer satisfaction, and achievement of business targets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage orders from development and booking to shipment.

• Coordinate with buyers regarding orders, samples, approvals, and requirements.

• Follow up on T&A, production progress, quality, and shipment schedules.

• Prepare and review costing, consumption, and order-related calculations.

• Coordinate with sourcing and procurement teams for fabric, trims, and accessories.

• Monitor order status and take necessary actions to ensure on-time delivery.

• Maintain effective communication with buyers and resolve order-related issues.

• Coordinate with production, IE, quality, and planning teams for smooth order execution.

• Monitor order profitability and support cost-control initiatives.

• Maintain order records, reports, and ERP updates.

• Support new product development and business opportunities.

• Assist in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.

• Identify potential production or delivery risks and take corrective actions.

• Support the team in achieving order booking, delivery, and customer satisfaction targets.
