Responsibilities & Context:
Warehouse & Inventory Management
Lead and optimize overall operations for Bonded Store, Fabric Store, Trims/Accessories Store and Yarn Store.
Implement robust inventory tracking systems (ERP/SAP) to ensure 100% data accuracy for all raw materials.
Conduct regular physical inventory verifications, cycle counts and audits to reconcile physical stock with system records.
Maintain strict FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FIFO material issuing protocols to eliminate aging stock.
Material Receiving & Distribution
Oversee material receiving, inspection (MRIR) and unloading processes against commercial invoices and packing lists.
Streamline the material issuing process to cutting, sewing and finishing floors to avoid any line downtime.
Supervise the return of excess or damaged floor fabrics and trims back into the warehouse tracking system.
Space Optimization & Safety
Optimize warehouse floor layouts, bin configurations and racking systems to maximize storage capacity.
Ensure strict adherence to commercial compliance, bonded warehouse rules and fire safety protocols.
Enforce 5S workplace methodology (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) across all store zones.
Reporting & Vendor Liaison
Generate weekly and monthly inventory status reports, highlighting dead stock, shortages and material variances.
Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Procurement, Production and Commercial teams for material readiness.
