• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE), Textile Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: 5 to 10+ years of manufacturing experience, specifically within apparel or garment production environments.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Lean tools, time study software, capacity modeling, and line layout design.

• Soft Skills: Strong data analysis, leadership, and cross-departmental communication abilities

An IE & Planning Manager combines Industrial Engineering (IE) and Production Planning to optimize factory efficiency, balance workflows, and ensure on-time delivery in manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: Analyze sewing, cutting, and finishing lines to boost overall productivity.

• Time & Motion Studies: Calculate Standard Minute Values (SMVs) and set accurate production baselines.

• Line Balancing: Distribute tasks evenly across operators to remove bottlenecks and smooth workflows.

• Capacity & Production Planning: Coordinate master factory plans, line layouts, and cut/finishing schedules based on delivery dates.

• Cost & CMT Estimation: Provide labor cost and Standard Allowed Minute (SAM) metrics to the merchandising department.

• Continuous Improvement: Lead Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, or 6S projects to minimize operational waste.
