- Age 30 to 45 years
• 8+ years in sweater merchandising — buying house, liaison office or sweater factory.
• Direct experience handling Walmart as a customer is mandatory.
Candidates without direct Walmart handling experience are requested not to apply.
Must have direct hands-on experience on the Retail Link portal.
Others need not apply.
Responsibilities & Context:
• Run orders on Retail Link (Walmart): PO download, item setup, scorecard and OTIF tracking.
• Yarn booking — count, composition, dye lot and shade band; monitor in-house date against the knitting plan.
• Costing per dozen: yarn consumption, knitting, linking, washing, finishing; negotiate and take management approval.
• Book knitting capacity by gauge; flag conflicts early.
• Coordinate sample development and follow up buyer approvals on time.
• Run TNA to shipment; coordinate L/C, booking and shipping documents with commercial.
Submit weekly order status report.
