Experience:

• Age 30 to 45 years
• Only Male

• 8+ years in garment technical and QA roles, with hands-on sweater experience.

• Direct experience handling Walmart as a customer is mandatory.

• Candidates without direct Walmart handling experience are requested not to apply.

• Combined expertise in garment technical development and quality assurance — both, not one.

• Sound knowledge of garment inspection across categories — sweater, knit and woven.

• Hands-on with hand flat, semi-auto and computerized knitting machines.

• Knows AQL inspection and US care label requirements.

• Good English; MS Excel and email correspondence.

• Frequent factory travel outside Dhaka.

•      Evaluate fit samples on model or dress form; comment on fit, balance, proportion and construction, and follow up correction with the factory.

•      Advise on making technique — linking, neck and armhole construction, shoulder joining, placket and trim placement — to achieve the buyer’s intended look.

•      Inline, mid-line and final inspection as per AQL under the Walmart quality manual.

•      Check gauge, tension, garment weight, shrinkage and shade band.

•      Measurement check against approved size set; report deviation to merchandising the same day.

•      Attend PP meeting, size set and pilot run; confirm bulk matches the approved sample.

• Follow up lab testing, care label and carton marking before shipment.

• Submit daily inspection and defect report to the buying team.
