Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in production planning in a woven garments manufacturing environment.

  • Experience of production processes, capacity planning and supply chain management.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Factory visit must when required.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Formulate and implement strategic production planning aligned with order forecasts, factory capacity and business objectives.

  • Do capacity booking, load analysis and production scheduling to ensure optimal utilization across production units.

  • Prepare plans for Sample, Cutting, Sewing and Finishing.

  • Execute line loading and style allocation considering SMV, order volume and delivery timelines.

  • Conduct capacity vs. order feasibility analysis and confirm booking in coordination with Merchandising prior to order acceptance.

  • Monitor Time & Action (T&A) to ensure material readiness, capacity availability and production feasibility before line input.

  • Review daily and weekly production performance vs. plan and implement proactive re-planning and recovery actions to mitigate delays.

  • Collaborate with Merchandising, IE, and Production to optimize production flow, sequencing and bottleneck management.

  • Ensure optimal utilization of lines, manpower and machinery, avoiding overbooking or underutilization.

  • Manage re-planning and re-booking in response to material delays, production constraints, or order changes.

Prepare and present key planning reports, including:

  • Capacity utilization: load vs capacity

  • Order status, shipment projection & delivery performance

  • WIP tracking and bottleneck analysis

  • Plan vs actual variance and risk analysis

  • Material readiness and its impact on production

  • Cut to ship ratio

  • Order to ship ratio

  • On time in full shipment

  • Fabrics and trims booking and delivery status.

  • Maintain regular communication with management on production status, risks, and mitigation plans.

  • Drive performance in line with Planning KPIs (OTDP, capacity utilization, lead time optimization).

  • Lead continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives (ERP/planning systems) to enhance planning accuracy and visibility.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the planning team, ensuring standardization and best practices across units.
