• Reporting To: Head of Merchandising / Management
• Location: Dhaka / Factory Locations as required

About the Role

We are looking for 5 experienced, proactive and quality-focused professionals to join our Merchandising Department as Garment Product Quality Executives (GPQE). Each GPQE will be assigned to one specific Merchandising Team and will take full A-to-Z quality ownership of all styles handled by that team, from Fabric In-house to Final Shipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fabric & Material Quality

·        Monitor fabric and trims to ensure approved standards, shade/lot segregation and traceability.

·        Check fabric inspection reports, GSM, width, shrinkage and fabric defects.

2. Pre-Production Quality

·        Review samples, tech packs, measurements and construction details.

·        Attend PP meetings, ensure quality requirements are communicated to production teams.

3. Production Quality Control

·        Monitor cutting, sewing, washing and finishing.

·        Follow up first output, inline and end-line quality.

·        Control measurements, workmanship and critical operations.

4. Finishing & Final Inspection

·        Ensure wash appearance, measurement and finishing meet approved standards.

·        Maintain AQL and control critical, major and minor defects.

·        Ensure all quality issues are closed before shipment.

5. Packing & Shipment

·        Verify packing, labeling, barcode and carton marking.

·        Ensure final quality approval.

·        Coordinate to ensure on-time shipment without compromising quality.

Candidate Profile

·        Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in Garments Quality / Product Quality / Merchandising Quality.

·        Strong knowledge of garment construction, workmanship, measurement, washing and finishing.

·        Knowledge of AQL, defect classification and buyer quality standards.

·        Experience with Denim, Woven, Swimwear and/or Outerwear will be an advantage.

·        Experience in export garment production and international buyer requirements is preferred.

·        Ability to read and understand Tech Pack, Measurement Chart and Construction Details.

·        Good knowledge of RCA, CAPA and quality improvement techniques.

·        Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

·        Ability to manage multiple styles simultaneously.

·        Proactive, disciplined, detail-oriented and highly accountable.

·        Willingness to visit production floors regularly.
