Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE), Textile Engineering, or a relevant discipline.

• Additional RequirementsMinimum 3–8 years of relevant experience in Industrial Engineering, preferably in Outerwear/Jacket manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of Time Study, Method Study, SMV calculation, Line Balancing, Capacity Planning, and Productivity Improvement.

• Hands-on experience with Jacket/Outerwear sewing machines and production processes.

• Good understanding of machine utilization, manpower planning, production capacity, WIP, and bottleneck analysis.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret production data and IE KPIs.

• Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, and waste reduction will be an advantage.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to prepare IE reports and performance dashboards.Strong communication and coordination skills with Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Merchandising teams.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets and shipment deadlines.Candidates with experience in export-oriented garments/outerwear factories will be preferred.

1. Conduct Time Study and Method Study for outerwear and jacket machine operations and establish accurate SMV.

2. Analyze sewing operations, machine types, operator skills, and production methods to improve line efficiency and productivity.

3. Conduct line balancing for jacket/outerwear production and optimize manpower according to operation breakdown and SMV.

4. Prepare capacity planning, machine loading, manpower allocation, and production targets based on order requirements.

5. Analyze machine and operator productivity and identify bottlenecks, idle time, and capacity gaps.

6. Optimize machine layout and workflow to reduce WIP, unnecessary movement, waiting time, and material handling.

7. Support style changeover and setup reduction to minimize production downtime.

8. Monitor daily efficiency, productivity, DHU/rework, WIP, absenteeism, and capacity utilization.

9. Identify root causes of production losses and implement corrective and continuous improvement actions.

10. Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Merchandising teams to achieve production and shipment targets.

11. Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, productivity improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives for outerwear/jacket production.

12. Provide data-driven recommendations to management for optimizing manpower, machines, methods, and production capacity.
