Preventive maintenance compliance
Oversee daily operation and maintenance of all utility systems and equipment.
Ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity, gas, steam, water, compressed air, chilled water, and other utilities.
Monitor utility equipment performance and take immediate action during breakdowns or emergencies.
Manage and monitor-Boiler and steam distribution system, Generator and electrical power distribution, Substation, transformer and HT/LT systems, Air compressor and compressed-air system, Water treatment and ETP/STP-related utility systems, Solar power system, where applicable
Monitor electricity, gas, diesel, water and other utility consumption.
Establish utility consumption KPIs per unit/garment or production volume.
Implement energy-saving projects such as efficient motors, VFDs, LED lighting, heat recovery, compressed-air optimization, etc.
Ensure preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of utility equipment.
Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement permanent corrective actions.
Ensure all utility operations comply with applicable Bangladesh laws, regulatory requirements, fire safety standards, environmental requirements, and customer/compliance standards.
Coordinate with Safety, Compliance and EHS teams during audits and inspections.
Lead and develop the utility engineering team, including engineers, supervisors, technicians and operators.
Present utility consumption, cost, downtime and efficiency reports to management.
Coordinate installation, commissioning and performance testing of utility systems.
Maintain required licenses, certificates, inspection records and statutory documentation.
