Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or a related discipline from a reputed institution.

• Candidates with relevant professional qualifications and strong practical expertise may also be considered.

• Experience in garment/apparel design and product development, preferably within a reputed export-oriented RMG organization.

• Candidates with experience working with international buyers will be given preference.

• We are considering candidates across different experience levels, from entry-level positions up to Senior Executive, depending on their skills, experience, and suitability.

• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, silhouettes, colors, and fashion trends.

• Good knowledge of the international apparel market and buyer expectations.

• Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in relevant design software is preferred.

• Knowledge of CLO 3D and other 3D apparel design software will be an advantage.

About the Role

MBM Group is looking for talented, creative, and technically skilled professionals to join our Design Department. We are considering candidates at all levels from entry-level positions up to Senior Executive, based on qualifications, experience, technical expertise, and overall suitability for the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative garment designs based on buyer requirements, market trends, and seasonal directions.

• Create and develop design concepts, mood boards, color stories, and technical design details.

• Collaborate with merchandising, product development, pattern, sample, and production teams to ensure smooth execution of designs.

• Research current fashion, fabric, silhouette, color, and styling trends relevant to international markets.

• Develop and review garment samples and provide design inputs throughout the product development process.

• Ensure designs meet buyer requirements, quality standards, and commercial objectives.

• Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve design and product development issues.

• Maintain awareness of global fashion trends and evolving design technologies.
