Experience:
B.Sc. in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Relevant professional certifications in quality management will be an added advantage.
8-10 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within a reputed woven garments manufacturing company.
Strong experience in woven bottoms (pants, chinos, cargo pants, shorts, etc.) is mandatory.
Hands-on experience in quality assurance processes from cutting to final inspection.
Experience working with products for Levi's and/or JCPenney will be considered a distinct advantage.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, measurement, fit, workmanship standards, and defect analysis.
Sound understanding of AQL standards, quality tools, and inspection techniques.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production and shipment deadlines.
Monitor and ensure compliance with buyer quality standards and factory quality procedures throughout the production process.
Coordinate with production, merchandising, technical, washing, and finishing teams to maintain required quality levels.
Conduct inline, pre-final, and final inspections to ensure products meet buyer specifications and workmanship standards.
Identify quality issues, analyze root causes, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Review and monitor quality performance reports, defect trends, and rejection analysis.
Ensure proper implementation of AQL standards and inspection procedures.
Assist the Department Head in maintaining quality management systems and achieving departmental objectives.
Follow up on buyer comments, audit findings, and quality improvement initiatives.
Support training activities for quality inspectors and production personnel on quality requirements and defect prevention.
Ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues to meet shipment schedules.
