Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or a relevant discipline from a reputed university.
Educational qualifications in other relevant disciplines may also be considered based on experience and competency.
Candidates with experience in export-oriented garment factories and handling international buyer requirements will be preferred.
Sound knowledge of woven garment manufacturing processes and quality inspection procedures.
Good understanding of AQL, inline, end-line, and final inspection processes.
Knowledge of garment construction, workmanship standards, measurement, and quality specifications.
Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work effectively with Production, Merchandising, Technical, IE, and other departments.
Good reporting and documentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production and shipment requirements.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and quality-focused approach.
Monitor day-to-day quality activities throughout the woven garment production process.
Ensure production processes are being followed according to approved quality standards, buyer requirements, specifications, and workmanship standards.
Conduct and monitor inline, end-line, and final inspections to identify quality issues at different stages of production.
Review inspection findings and coordinate with the concerned production and quality teams for timely corrective actions.
Follow up on recurring defects and assist in identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
Monitor quality performance of assigned production lines and provide regular updates to the QA management team.
Check measurement, workmanship, construction, appearance, and other quality parameters against approved samples and specifications.
Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, IE, Technical, Washing, and other relevant departments regarding quality-related issues.
Assist in maintaining and updating quality reports, inspection records, defect analysis, and other QA documentation.
Support the implementation of Quality Management Systems, SOPs, and quality control procedures within the assigned areas.
Follow up on corrective action plans resulting from internal, buyer, and third-party inspections or audits.
Monitor compliance with AQL requirements and ensure proper inspection procedures are followed.
Assist in handling buyer inspections and communicate quality-related observations to the relevant teams.
Identify potential quality risks before shipment and ensure necessary actions are taken in coordination with the concerned departments.
Support the QA management team in continuous quality improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects, rework, alteration, and rejection.
Provide guidance and technical support to QA/QC personnel within the assigned production areas.
Perform any other quality-related responsibilities assigned by the management.
