Experience:
• MBA/Master's degree in HRM, Business Administration, or relevant discipline.
• Professional certification in HR/Training & Development will be an advantage.
• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in HR & Administration, preferably in the Textile, Garments, Apparel, Spinning, Weaving related manufacturing sector.
• At least 3–5 years in a managerial/senior managerial HR role.
• Strong hands-on experience in Training & Development/Learning & Development is essential.
• Experience in developing training academies, competency frameworks, leadership programs, and succession planning will be highly preferred.
• Experience working with international buyers, social compliance requirements, and factory environments will be an advantage.
Job Purpose
The AGM – HR & Administration will be responsible for leading and managing the organization's Human Resources, Training & Development, Employee Engagement, and Administration functions within a textile and garments manufacturing environment.
The position will focus strongly on developing a high-performance workforce through structured training, competency development, leadership development, succession planning, performance management, and employee engagement, while ensuring effective HR operations, discipline, compliance, and administrative support.
The incumbent should have strong practical expertise in Training Needs Assessment (TNA), Training program design, competency development, learning evaluation, and organizational development, preferably within the textile, garments, spinning, Weaving, finishing, or apparel manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities
Lead overall HR & Admin activities of the organization.
Prepare and implement annual Training & Development plans.
Conduct Training Needs Assessment (TNA) for workers, supervisors, executives, and managers.
Develop and conduct training programs to improve employee skills, productivity, and performance.
Develop supervisory and leadership development programs.
Implement Train-the-Trainer (ToT) programs and develop internal trainers.
Monitor training effectiveness and maintain training records.
Develop employee competency/skill matrices and career development plans.
Manage recruitment, manpower planning, performance appraisal, promotion, transfer, and employee relations.
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, engagement, and retention.
Manage general administration, welfare, security, transport, canteen, and housekeeping.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, company policies, and buyer/social compliance requirements.
Prepare HR reports, MIS, and other management reports.
Work closely with management and department heads to improve workforce capability and organizational performance.
