Experience:

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

• Graduate /Master’s / equivalent from any reputed university.

• Professional certifications in International Trade, Customs, or Commercial Management will be considered an added advantage.

• Age 30 to 40 years

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Commercial (Import & Export) operations within a reputed 100% Export-Oriented Oven Garments industry.

• Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Import & Export regulations, Customs Act, Bonded Warehouse Management, BEPZA, EPB, and Bangladesh Bank policies.

• Strong technical knowledge in Commercial Department.

• Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a fixed time-frame.

• Ability to communicate with other department & supplier for smooth operations.

• Must have the ability to supervise and inspire team members.

• Lead and supervise all Import & Export commercial operations.

• Ensure timely opening, amendment, and settlement of Import L/Cs and Back-to-Back L/Cs.

• Manage comprehensive export documentation, including EXP, Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, GSP, and other shipping documents.

• Coordinate effectively with Bangladesh Bank, Customs, Bond Commissionerate, BEPZA, EPB, Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, C&F Agents, and commercial banks.

• Maintain compliance with EPZ customs authorities, bonding warehouse rules, and local regulatory bodies.

• Monitor customs clearance processes, shipment schedules, and logistics to avoid delays.

• Responsible bond license management, UD utilization, customs audits, and regulatory reporting.

• Coordinate with accounts, finance, marketing, and merchandising teams regarding production and shipment timelines.

• Maintain strong, professional relationships with buyers, suppliers, banks, and government authorities.

• Prepare comprehensive commercial reports, Management Information Systems (MIS), and management presentations.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team to achieve organizational objectives.

• Any other job assigne time to time by the management.
