Responsibilities & Context:
Manage overall Yarn, Fabric, Accessories, and General Store operations of the Knit Composite/Garments Factory.
Ensure proper receiving, inspection, storage, issuing, and documentation of all materials.
Maintain accurate inventory through ERP/Store Management Software and ensure timely stock reconciliation.
Monitor stock levels, material consumption, shortages, excess, damaged, slow-moving, and obsolete items.
Ensure proper FIFO, bin/location management, labeling, and material traceability.
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Commercial, Quality, and Accounts for uninterrupted material availability.
Ensure timely issuance of materials against authorized requisitions and proper handling of returns/transfers.
Conduct regular physical stock verification, cycle counts, and inventory audits, and resolve discrepancies.
Lead and supervise Store personnel and ensure safety, housekeeping, and warehouse discipline.
Prepare stock, inventory, consumption, and variance reports for management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, audit requirements, and inventory control procedures.
