Experience:
Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law, Labor Rules, DIFE and statutory compliance.
Good understanding of BSCI, SEDEX/SMETA, WRAP, Better Work, CTPAT, RSC/Nirapon and other buyer requirements.
Strong audit preparation, inspection and CAP management skills.
Good understanding of workplace safety, fire safety and emergency preparedness.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional departments.
Good leadership and team management capability.
Good command of English and Bangla, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and compliance reporting.
· Monitor compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, Labor Rules, DIFE and statutory requirements.
· Support implementation of BSCI, SEDEX/SMETA, WRAP, SCAN, Better Work, CTPAT, ICS and HIGG/FSLM requirements.
· Coordinate RSC/Nirapon, Fire & Life Safety, Electrical, Structural and other safety audits.
· Conduct regular internal social and safety inspections, mock audits and compliance assessments.
· Prepare factories for buyers and third-party audits and ensure required documents/evidence are available.
· Monitor wages, working hours, overtime, leave, benefits, worker files and statutory records.
· Monitor worker rights, grievance handling, welfare, freedom of association and workplace practices.
· Ensure compliance with child/forced labor, discrimination, harassment and disciplinary requirements.
· Follow up on CAPs, audit findings, root-cause analysis and corrective actions until closure.
· Monitor fire safety, emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, safety committee activities and worker safety awareness.
· Coordinate with HR, Admin, EHS, Engineering and Production to resolve compliance and safety gaps.
· Conduct worker and management training on social compliance, labor rights and safety requirements.
· Maintain audit files, compliance records, CAP trackers and supporting evidence.
· Prepare regular audit, CAP, compliance and safety status reports for senior management.
· Supervise and guide Compliance Executives/Officers and ensure effective team performance.
· Immediately escalate critical labor, social or safety risks to Sr. Manager/Manager/AGM/GM.
