• Lead and manage the overall Knitting Department, ensuring smooth and efficient production operations.

• Take full responsibility for producing all types of Circular Knitted Fabrics according to buyer requirements, specifications and quality standards.

• Plan and monitor knitting production based on production schedules, fabric requirements and delivery deadlines.

• Handle different types of circular knitting machines, fabrics, yarns, gauges, structures and fabric constructions.

• Ensure proper machine setting, knitting parameters, GSM, stitch length, loop length and fabric specifications.

• Develop and implement effective production plans to achieve optimum machine utilization and production targets.

• Monitor fabric quality and ensure compliance with required GSM, width, shrinkage, appearance, construction and other quality parameters.

• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Dyeing, Quality, Merchandising, Maintenance and Store departments for smooth workflow.

• Identify and resolve knitting-related technical problems, machine faults and production bottlenecks.

• Minimize fabric defects, wastage, machine downtime and production losses.

• Ensure proper preventive maintenance and timely servicing of knitting machines in coordination with the Maintenance Department.

• Monitor yarn consumption, fabric yield and production efficiency to control costs.

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for knitting operations.

• Lead, motivate and develop knitting supervisors, technicians, operators and other team members.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety requirements and applicable compliance standards.

• Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly production and performance reports.

• Analyze production data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency.

• Ensure timely production of quality fabric while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the management.
