Experience:
Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law, Labor Rules, DIFE and statutory compliance.
Strong knowledge of BSCI, SEDEX/SMETA, WRAP, SCAN, Better Work, CTPAT, ICS and HIGG/FSLM.
Good understanding of RSC/Nirapon, Fire & Life Safety, Electrical and Structural Safety.
Strong audit handling, CAP management and root-cause analysis skills.
Excellent leadership, team management and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Good report writing, documentation and presentation skills.
Strong command of MS Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple audits and compliance requirements simultaneously.
Strong ability to coordinate with buyers, auditors, management and cross-functional teams.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, Labor Rules, DIFE and statutory requirements.
Manage BSCI, SEDEX/SMETA, WRAP, SCAN, Better Work, CTPAT, ICS and HIGG/FSLM requirements.
Coordinate RSC/Nirapon, Fire & Life Safety, Electrical, Structural and other safety audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
Lead buyer, third-party and internal social & safety compliance audits.
Ensure compliance with wages, working hours, overtime, leave, benefits, worker files and statutory records.
Monitor worker rights, grievance mechanisms, freedom of association and worker welfare.
Ensure zero tolerance for child/forced labor, discrimination, harassment and abusive disciplinary practices.
Manage CAP, root-cause analysis, corrective actions and timely closure of social and safety findings.
Conduct internal audits, mock audits, risk assessments and regular factory compliance inspections.
Ensure effective Fire Safety, Emergency Preparedness, Evacuation, Safety Committee and worker safety awareness.
Monitor RSC/Nirapon remediation progress and coordinate with Engineering, EHS and relevant departments for corrective actions.
Conduct compliance and safety training for management, supervisors and workers.
Maintain complete audit documentation, statutory records, CAP trackers and compliance evidence.
Prepare compliance, safety, audit and CAP reports/KPIs for GM/Top Management.
Lead, supervise and develop the Social & Safety Compliance Team.
Escalate critical social, labor and safety risks to senior management immediately.
