Experience:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any discipline; Textile/Apparel-related education will be preferred.
Educational qualifications may be relaxed for candidates with strong relevant experience.
5–8 years of practical experience in the Cutting Department of a Knit Garments/Composite Garments Factory.
Candidates currently working as Cutting Supervisor, Senior Cutting Supervisor, or Cutting In-Charge will be preferred.
Strong practical knowledge of knit fabric cutting, spreading, marker, consumption, and cutting wastage control is essential.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Knit Garments Cutting Operations.
Good understanding of fabric consumption and wastage control.
Ability to handle production pressure and meet cutting targets.
Good manpower management and leadership skills.
Supervise and control the overall cutting section activities.
Ensure cutting plans are executed according to production schedules and approved markers.
Monitor fabric spreading, marker placement, cutting, numbering, bundling, and panel checking.
Ensure minimum fabric wastage and maximum fabric utilization.
Verify fabric width, GSM, shrinkage, shade, and other quality parameters before cutting.
Ensure accurate cutting according to approved patterns, markers, and production requirements.
Coordinate with Planning, Merchandising, Production, Quality, Store, and Sewing Departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Maintain proper records of fabric consumption, cutting quantity, wastage, and production output.
Ensure proper identification and segregation of different fabric lots, shades, sizes, and colors.
Monitor cutting machines and ensure safe and efficient operation.
Identify cutting-related problems and take corrective action promptly.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, safety requirements, and buyer requirements.
Manage and guide cutting operators, helpers, and other section personnel.
Prepare daily production and performance reports for management.
Maintain discipline and ensure proper utilization of manpower and machinery.
