Experience:
Minimum HSC/Diploma; Graduate or Textile-related education will be preferred.
Educational qualification may be relaxed for highly experienced candidates.
5–8 years of relevant experience in the Sewing/Production Department of a Knit Garments or Composite Garments Factory.
Candidates currently working as Sewing Supervisor, Line Supervisor, Senior Supervisor will be preferred.
Practical experience in handling multiple sewing lines will be an advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Knit Garments Sewing Operations.
Good understanding of line balancing, production flow, and sewing operations.
Ability to achieve production targets while maintaining quality.
Supervise the overall sewing production activities of the assigned lines.
Ensure daily production targets are achieved according to the production plan.
Allocate manpower and machines efficiently to maintain smooth production flow.
Monitor line output, efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Ensure production is carried out according to approved samples, specifications, and buyer requirements.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, IE, Cutting, and Finishing Departments for smooth operations.
Monitor sewing operations and identify bottlenecks, machine problems, and production delays.
Take immediate corrective action to minimize downtime, rework, and production losses.
Ensure proper operation sequence and balanced workflow within the sewing line.
Monitor sewing defects and coordinate with the Quality team to reduce rejection and alteration.
Ensure proper handling and feeding of cut panels, accessories, and materials to the sewing lines.
Maintain discipline and proper utilization of manpower within the section.
Guide and motivate Line Leaders, Operators, Helpers, and other production personnel.
Monitor machine utilization and coordinate with the Maintenance Department for machine-related problems.
Prepare and maintain daily production reports, including output, efficiency, downtime, and manpower.
Ensure compliance with factory SOPs, safety requirements, and workplace standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce production costs.
