Proficiency in 3D design software and basic pattern-making skills
Strong sense of garment construction, fabric behavior, and design aesthetics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present and explain design concepts clearly
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in design work
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadline
Responsibilities & Context:
This position will be responsible for creating digital prototypes and virtual garment simulations to support the design and product development process. This role combines creativity with technical expertise to produce photorealistic 3D models that accurately represent the intended designs, enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of the product development cycle·
To develop complex virtual prototypes using 3D design software such as CLO3D, Browzwear, or similar tools.
To create high-quality 3D models of garments, including fabrics, trims, and accessories, ensuring accurate representation of textures and materials.
To import and sew DXF patterns in CLO3D, ensuring accuracy in seam and construction details.
To drape and fit garments on avatars in CLO3D, ensuring realistic movement, fit, and behavior that aligns with design intent.
To apply, adjust, and enhance fabrics using materials and other resources to achieve accurate texture and physical properties.
To work closely with designers, pattern makers, and product development teams to ensure virtual garments align with design specifications and production requirements.
To generate technical drawings and graphics from 3D models to support the production process.
To maintain innovative design practices.
To organize and conduct 3D training sessions for designers and pattern makers to enhance team capabilities.
