Successful completion of buyer and third-party compliance audits.
Timely closure of audit findings and CAPs.
Compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law and applicable regulations.
Reduction of repeat audit findings.Internal compliance audit performance.
Fire, health & safety compliance performance.
Timely renewal of licenses, certificates and permits.
Effectiveness of worker grievance and welfare systems.
Accuracy and completeness of compliance documentation.
Employee awareness and compliance training effectiveness.
Responsibilities & Context:
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, Labour Rules and other applicable regulations.
Ensure compliance with requirements related to recruitment, employment contracts, termination and separation.
Monitor disciplinary practices and grievance-handling procedures.
Ensure proper functioning of worker grievance and complaint mechanisms.
Lead preparation for buyer, third-party and certification audits.
Coordinate social compliance audits such as SMETA, BSCI, WRAP, SLCP, CTPAT,RSC/Accord, Nirapan 90 days monitoring, ZDHC, or buyer-specific assessments, as applicable.
Review audit findings and develop effective Corrective Action Plans (CAP).
Ensure implementation of workplace health and safety requirements.
Monitor fire safety systems, emergency exits, evacuation routes and fire-fighting equipment & fire drills and emergency preparedness activities.
Monitor workplace hazards and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
Coordinate environmental compliance requirements with relevant departments.
Monitor compliance with applicable environmental regulations and customer requirements.
Conduct periodic inspections of factory facilities, canteen, dormitory, medical room, childcare facilities, welfare facilities and other relevant areas.
Conduct awareness sessions on labour rights, workplace conduct, health & safety and company policies.
