Responsibilities & Context:
Lead the IE function for a reputed knit garments manufacturing operation and drive overall productivity improvement.
Develop and monitor SMV/SAM, time study, method study, line balancing and capacity planning.
Analyze production data to improve line efficiency, labor productivity, machine utilization and capacity utilization.
Optimize manpower allocation and control labor and manufacturing costs.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement Lean, Kaizen, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop productivity, capacity, cost and efficiency dashboards for management decision-making.
Conduct actual vs. target, productivity gap, cost-benefit and ROI analysis for improvement projects.
Forecast manpower, capacity and productivity requirements based on orders, styles and production plans.
Work closely with Production, Planning, Merchandising, Quality, HR and Finance to achieve business, cost and delivery objectives.
Lead and develop the IE team while providing data-driven business insights and actionable recommendations to management.
