Responsibilities & Context:

1. Responsible for overall quality control of Knit Garments from Sample Development through Bulk Production and Shipment.

2. Inspect and evaluate samples according to Buyer Tech Pack, Measurement Specification, Construction Details, Approved Sample and Quality Standards.

3. Check Fit Sample, Size Set, PP Sample, Photo Sample and other samples as required.

4. Inspect fabric quality, GSM, hand feel, shade, shrinkage, spirality, pilling and other knit fabric-related parameters as applicable.

5. Check garment measurement, workmanship, stitching, construction, finishing, printing, embroidery, trims and accessories.

6. Identify sample quality issues and communicate corrective actions to the factory.

7. Follow up on Buyer comments and ensure all corrections are properly implemented before sample approval.

8. Monitor quality throughout bulk production and ensure compliance with approved sample and Buyer requirements.

9. Conduct or supervise Inline, End-line, Pre-Final and Final Inspections at supplier factories.

10. Check bulk production for measurement, workmanship, fabric, shade, construction, finishing and overall appearance.

11. Ensure proper control of shade variation, wash appearance, shrinkage, measurement tolerance and garment defects.

12. Conduct Final Inspection according to applicable AQL standards before shipment.

13. Verify packing, assortment, carton quantity, carton marking, labeling and other shipment-related quality requirements where applicable.

14. Prepare and maintain Sample Inspection Reports, Inline/End-line Reports and Final Inspection Reports.

15. Identify recurring quality problems and follow up with the factory for corrective and preventive actions.

16. Coordinate with Factory Production, Sample and QC Teams to resolve quality issues.

17. Coordinate with Merchandising and Management regarding sample and bulk quality status.

18. Visit different Knit Garment factories for sample and bulk inspections as required.

19. Support Buyer inspections and communicate quality findings to the concerned team.

20. Perform any other quality-related duties assigned by management.
