Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering / Apparel Manufacturing / Textile Technology or relevant discipline.

Must have vast knowledge about Knitting & Dyeing procedure
Strong knowledge of knitting production and grey fabric management , knit fabric construction, yarn, GSM, composition, shrinkage, color and finishing.
Good understanding of T&A, production planning and capacity utilization.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Knowledge of FIFO, yarn allocation and fabric quality parameters.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
Good command of MS Office, particularly Excel.
Good understanding of buyer requirements, quality standards and sample approval procedures.

Maruhisa Atlantic Co., Ltd. is seeking a competent, self-driven, and experienced “Fabric Manager (Knitting & Dyeing)”
Job Location: Plot No. B-466, 511-513, BSCIC Industrial Area Enayetnagar, Fatullah, Narayanganj-1420
Responsibilities
Take overall responsibility for assigned Buyer(s) to ensure timely grey fabric batching with the required quality as per T&A.
Maintain continuous communication and coordination with the Merchandising Department to collect buyer booking and production requirements.
Monitor and control finished and grey fabric leftover to ensure optimum utilization and minimize wastage.
Plan and allocate required yarn quantity according to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
Ensure completion of the 1st batch after conducting proper pre-risk analysis before commencement of bulk production.
Plan and allocate the required number of knitting machines based on T&A, capacity and production requirements.
Monitor knitting production progress and take necessary actions to ensure production is achieved as per T&A.
Coordinate closely with Planning, Dyeing, Quality, Store and to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production flow.
Identify production bottlenecks, quality risks and capacity issues and take corrective actions in coordination with relevant departments.
Monitor daily production status, batch requirements, machine utilization and delivery commitments.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards, production procedures and buyer requirements.
Prepare and communicate necessary production updates and escalation reports to the management.
Lead and guide the knitting team to achieve production, quality and T&A targets.
Lead, develop and motivate the Knit team. Coordinate with Merchandising, Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing, Quality and Production teams for fabric development.
Ensure proper fabric construction, GSM, composition, color, shrinkage, hand feel and other required parameters.
Follow up on fabric development, lab dips, strike-offs, test reports and approvals
Identify technical issues during development and take necessary corrective actions.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of fabric samples and approvals.
