Experience:
Minimum Graduate (Educational qualifications may be relaxed for exceptionally experienced candidates).
At least 3-5 years of practical experience in delivery and logistics within a textile dyeing, printing, finishing, or garments factory.
Geographical Knowledge: Excellent familiarity with Shyampur, Postogola, Jurain, Babur Hat, and major Dhaka fabric markets (Isampur, Babu Bazar, Sadarghat).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using smartphone apps (WhatsApp, Viber) for sharing live locations or project photos, along with basic computer entry skills in MS Word and MS Excel.
Personal Attributes: Strong leadership to manage laborers or drivers, with an ability to stay calm and perform efficiently under intense workload pressures.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and highly responsible Delivery Incharge to lead our delivery management. The successful candidate will ensure that completed dyeing and finishing fabric lots/rolls are safely, accurately, and timely dispatched to customers and buyers. This role requires handling factory-owned and rented transport networks, loading laborers, and managing commercial delivery documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Operations & Route Planning
Create and implement efficient delivery schedules based on daily orders and buyer priorities.
Optimize delivery routes by strict consideration of heavy traffic and commercial vehicle entry time restrictions.
Supervise the precise loading of goods by cross-checking physical stock against invoices, packing lists, and delivery challans.
Quality & Count Verification
Count rolls, check yards, and inspect fabric lots carefully when taking handovers from the production floor.
Report any visible printing or dyeing shade defects to the Production and Quality Control (QC) teams before loading vehicles.
Packing, Safety, and Labor Management
Ensure proper packing and safe handling so fabrics do not get dirty, wet, or damaged during loading and transit.
Directly supervise and manage loaders and factory laborers to maintain high efficiency and prevent negligence.
Documentation, Inventory Control & Billing
Prepare and cross-check precise gate passes, delivery challans, and buyer requisition paperwork.
Retrieve signed and sealed delivery receipts from buyers, archiving them with the accounts team.
Audit logs for non-production factory items (maintenance parts, tools, fixed assets) entering or leaving the facility.
Manage returnable assets, verify vendor/driver details, and check daily labor or vehicle hire bills for accounts approval.
Crisis Management & Coordination
Collaborate continuously with Sales, Production, Quality, and Accounts departments regarding shipment statuses.
Resolve client complaints regarding fabric shortages or damage quickly.
Maintain operations during transit emergencies, vehicle breakdowns, or accidents by coordinating backup logistics.
