• The incumbent should have at least 2 years of work experience in Planning Department with Knit & Woven (Jacket) garments.

• Prepare & maintain monthly, order-wise & style-wise fabric plans based on garment production requirements, shipment priorities & available capacity.

• Collect, consolidate & analyze fabric requirements, order forecasts, consumption & delivery requirements from Garment Planning & M&M.

• Calculate & maintain yarn & fabric requirements considering composition, GSM, width, consumption, wastage & required production quantity.

• Prepare & monitor yarn booking & availability plans to ensure timely supply against knitting requirements.

• Coordinate & follow up with Yarn, Knitting, Dyeing & Finishing to ensure smooth execution of the fabric production plan.

• Monitor daily yarn, knitting, dyeing & finishing plan vs. actual and identify delays, bottlenecks & capacity gaps.

• Monitor fabric WIP & batch status from yarn receipt through knitting, dyeing, finishing, inspection & finished fabric availability.

• Follow up on fabric quality, shade, GSM, width, shrinkage & other QC issues and coordinate timely corrective/reprocessing actions.

• Maintain order/style-wise fabric balance & availability status and ensure correct allocation against garment production requirements.

• Maintain daily & weekly fabric visibility reports & management dashboards, covering yarn, knitting, dyeing, finishing, WIP & delivery status.

• Maintain a rolling fabric production plan considering garment priority, capacity, material readiness, processing lead time & production constraints.

• Identify potential fabric shortage or delivery risks 5–7 days in advance and coordinate recovery actions including priority changes & capacity adjustment.

• Ensure alignment between Fabric Planning, Garment Planning, Yarn, Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing & QC on requirements, priorities & delivery schedules.

• Analyze fabric planning & production data to improve fabric availability, lead time, WIP control, plan adherence & capacity utilization.

• Escalate critical & recurring fabric-related issues to the team Manager &/or Head of Planning with data-based analysis & recommended actions.
