Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline; Master’s degree is an advantage.
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in an R&D, analytical or testing laboratory, with hands-on expertise in SEM and high-resolution optical microscopy.
•Knowledge of analytical instruments such as FT-IR and DSC is an advantage.
•Experience in textile, polymer or apparel defect analysis and root-cause investigation is preferred.
•Experience in textile, apparel, polymer or materials R&D is highly desirable.
•Strong analytical, observational, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
•Proficiency in SEM/microscopy sample preparation for textile, polymer and related materials.
•Ability to interpret analytical data and communicate findings clearly.
•Fluent in Bengali and good command of English for technical communication and reporting.
•Proficient in MS Office and laboratory data/reporting software; instrument-specific software knowledge is an advantage.
•Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
•Honest, self-motivated and capable of working independently.
1. Analytical & Microscopic Testing
•Operate and maintain SEM/EDX and optical microscopes for material analysis.
•Conduct appropriate sample preparation and microscopic analysis.
•Support analysis using other laboratory instruments.
2. R&D Support
•Conduct structural, morphological and compositional analysis for R&D projects.
•Interpret results and prepare technical reports.
•Recommend suitable analytical methods.
3. Equipment & Safety
•Ensure instrument maintenance, calibration and servicing.
•Follow laboratory safety and chemical handling procedures.
4. Documentation & Compliance
•Maintain accurate test records, logbooks and sample traceability.
•Support ISO/IEC 17025 and laboratory quality requirements.
5. Collaboration
•Collaborate with R&D, Testing Laboratory, Technical and Quality teams to support material and product development.
