Experience:
Bachelors/ Master’s degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology or a related field.
Specialization in Fabric Manufacturing, Wet Processing, Dyeing, or Textile R&D will be preferred.
Candidates with strong experience in Fabric R&D and practical knowledge of Dyeing & Finishing will be highly preferred.
Experience working with international buyers and export-oriented textile/garment factories will be an advantage.
Strong technical knowledge of fabric development and dyeing.
Good understanding of knitting, dyeing, finishing, and fabric testing.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet development deadlines.
Good knowledge of textile raw materials, dyes, chemicals, and sustainable textile processes.

Lead and manage the Fabric R&D team and develop new fabric qualities according to buyer requirements and market trends.
Develop and optimize new fabric constructions, compositions, finishes, and functional fabrics.
Work closely with Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing, Production, Quality, and Merchandising teams to ensure successful fabric development.
Have strong knowledge of fabric dyeing processes, including dye selection, recipe development, shade matching, color correction, and process optimization.
Troubleshoot fabric-related problems during development, dyeing, and finishing.
Conduct trials and analyze fabric performance, quality, shrinkage, GSM, color fastness, pilling, hand feel, and other relevant parameters.
Coordinate with suppliers and mills for yarn, chemical, dye, and fabric development.
Ensure R&D developments meet customer specifications, quality standards, cost targets, and production feasibility.
Maintain proper documentation of fabric developments, trial reports, recipes, and technical specifications.
Research new textile technologies, sustainable processes, fibers, dyes, and fabric innovations.
Support the production and technical teams in resolving complex fabric and dyeing issues.
