Experience:

• 8 to 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile

• B.Sc. in Textile Engineering, preferably in Wet Processing / Dyeing & Finishing.

• Diploma in Textile Engineering may be considered for candidates with strong practical experience.

• 8–10+ years of relevant experience in knit Dyeing-finishing, depending on the position level.

• Strong practical knowledge of knit fabric finishing machinery and processes.

• Experience in handling production teams and shift operations.

• Good knowledge of fabric quality parameters and buyer requirements.

• Plan, organize and monitor daily finishing production according to production plans and shipment requirements.

• Supervise the complete knit fabric finishing process, including HEATSET, stentering, compacting, calendaring, brushing, raising, shearing, slitting and other applicable processes.

• Ensure proper finishing parameters such as GSM, width, shrinkage, spirality, skewness, hand feel and appearance are maintained as per approved standards.

• Monitor machine settings, process parameters and production efficiency.

• Coordinate with QA/QC, Planning, Knitting and Maintenance departments to resolve production and quality issues.

• Ensure bulk production follows the approved lab-dip, shade standard, recipe and finishing standard.

• Analyze fabric defects and take corrective and preventive actions.

• Control reprocessing, rejection, process loss and chemical wastage.

• Monitor machine utilization, manpower deployment and shift-wise production performance.

• Ensure timely delivery of finished fabric to the next process/garments production.

• Maintain production reports, efficiency reports, rejection/reprocess reports and other required records.

• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, company quality standards and applicable environmental/safety procedures.

• Train and guide supervisors, operators and production personnel.

• Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce production costs.

• Ensure proper housekeeping, workplace safety and 5S practices within the department.
