Job Responsibilities

Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable RSC Technical Guidelines, RSC Fire Safety Manual, BNBC fire safety rules, NFPA and other applicable fire-safety requirements.
Regularly review RSC fire and life-safety requirements and identify gaps against the factory's existing conditions.
Maintain an updated RSC Fire & Life Safety CAP tracker with responsibility, target date, progress and evidence.
Coordinate implementation of all RSC fire-related corrective actions and ensure timely closure.
Prepare the factory for RSC Initial, Follow-up, Pre-T&C, T&C, Final Verification and other special inspections as applicable.
Review previous RSC inspection findings and ensure that the same findings do not recur.
Coordinate with management and relevant departments for urgent remediation for high-risk fire and life-safety findings.
Conduct routine inspection of smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, sounders, strobes, fire alarm panels, batteries and associated devices along with maintain fire alarm testing, inspection and maintenance records.
Coordinate troubleshooting and rectification of faults, disabled devices, zone faults and communication failures.
Ensure fire pump room is maintained properly and kept free from obstruction and conduct routine functional checks and coordinate preventive maintenance.
Monitor fire pump auto/manual operation and maintain test records.
Conduct routine inspection of all exit routes, exit doors, stairways, corridors, aisles and emergency escape routes as well as ensure all means of egress remain clear, unobstructed and readily accessible.
Sound Knowledge on passive Fire protection Systems.
Developing evacuation plans and conducting fire drills.
Ensuring all employees are trained in fire safety protocols.
Conducting fire risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential hazards.
Maintains various logbooks as required, recording and tracking incidents and near misses of accidents consistent with OSHA requirements, to get approval Fire safety plan accordingly.
Maintain regular communication with compliance bodies such as Accord and Alliance, managing audits, inspections, and corrective action plans professionally and promptly
