Responsibilities & Context:

• Quality Assurance & Inspection Oversight

  • Supervise incoming material, in-process, and finished goods inspections to ensure strict compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and buyer requirements.

  • Oversee testing equipment calibration, maintenance, and raw material supplier performance.

  • Track and report key quality KPIs, including First Pass Yield (FPY), Rework Rate, and Defect Rate.

• Audit, Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Execute internal audits in accordance with ISO standards, RQS SOPs, and buyer guidelines; ensure timely closure of non-conformities and audit findings.

  • Conduct root-cause analysis on defect trends and rejection reports to implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

  • Review and update departmental quality policies, SOPs, and long-term quality improvement frameworks.

• Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication

  • Partner with Production, Planning, Merchandising, and Compliance teams to resolve real-time quality bottlenecks and customer complaints.

  • Facilitate regular quality review meetings and present monthly performance metrics to senior management.

• Team Leadership & Resource Management

  • Mentor, evaluate, and develop the QA/QC team through targeted training on quality procedures and buyer standards.

  • Prepare annual departmental operational budgets and CAPEX proposals for quality equipment and resources.

  • First Pass Yield (FPY) Target Achievement

  • Reduction in Factory Defect & Rework Rates

  • Timely Closure Rate of Audit Non-Conformities & CAPAs
